The Bitget app fee screen: confirming your spot and futures rates in five minutes
Your Bitget trading fee depends on your VIP level, the product and whether your order adds or removes liquidity. Where the app shows your current rates, how to match them with the fee schedule, and how to check a real fill.

Fee tables are easy to find, but they list rates for every level, and it is not always obvious which row applies to you. Bitget's app shows your own level and current rates on a dedicated screen, and every fill records the fee actually charged. Putting the two together takes about five minutes and gives you a personal baseline: the maker and taker rates for spot and futures that apply to your account today. With that baseline, you can judge whether a strategy is worth its costs and spot quickly when something changes.
Find your level and rates in the app
Tap the profile icon, then look for VIP or Fee rate. The screen shows your current level, the rates for spot and futures and, often, what is needed to move up a level. If you use BGB to pay fees, the screen may indicate whether deduction is active. Take a screenshot with the date in view. If the screen looks different from what is described here, update the app and check the Bitget help centre, as layout changes between releases.
Match it with the fee schedule
Open the fee schedule on the Bitget fee page and find the row for your level. Confirm that the maker and taker rates for spot and for USDT-margined futures match what the app shows. If they differ, the most common reasons are a promotional rate on your account, a special rate for certain pairs or a BGB discount. Note any differences and their reason, because promotions expire and your baseline should reflect what you will pay after they end.
Check one real fill
Place a small order you would make anyway, then open the order history and tap into the filled order. The detail shows the fee amount, the asset it was charged in and whether the fill was maker or taker. Divide the fee by the trade value to get the effective rate and compare it with your baseline. A limit order that executed immediately against the book will show as taker, which is a frequent surprise for new users.
Keep the baseline current
Write your rates in a note with the date, your level and any active discount. Review it monthly or whenever you receive a message that your VIP level has changed. If you trade both spot and futures, keep the two sets of rates separate, as they behave differently. This small habit stops you from relying on fee numbers from videos or forums that may describe another account, another level or another year.
