A Ten-Minute Pass Through the Bitget App Security Centre

A step-by-step review of the Bitget app security centre: login methods, anti-phishing code, fund password, device list and withdrawal settings, in the order that closes the biggest gaps first.

Most people complete the Bitget app sign-up in a rush, add whatever second factor the app suggests and never return to the security settings. Months later the account holds real money but the protection still reflects that first rushed afternoon. The security centre in the app has everything you need in one place. Working through it in a sensible order takes about ten minutes and leaves the account in much better shape.

Start with how you log in

Tap the profile icon and open Security. Check which second factor methods are active: authenticator app, passkey, email and phone. If you only have SMS, add an authenticator app or a passkey now and write down the authenticator setup key on paper. A passkey stored on your phone lets you sign in with your fingerprint or face, which also protects against fake login pages.

Set the fund password and anti-phishing code

Bitget offers a fund password, a separate code required for withdrawals and some transfers. Make it different from your login password and from any password you use elsewhere. Next, set the anti-phishing code so genuine Bitget emails display a phrase that only you know. Both settings are in the same Security list. Store the fund password in a password manager rather than a notes app, and avoid reusing the same short numeric code you use for your phone or bank card.

Review devices and login activity

Open the device management entry and look at each device and its last login. Remove anything you no longer use or do not recognise. Then check the login history for unusual locations. If something looks wrong, change your password from a trusted device and remove all other sessions. Device names are often just a phone model or browser type, so compare them with what you actually own before deciding an entry is safe to keep.

Lock down withdrawals

Open withdrawal address management and enable the whitelist so funds can only go to addresses you saved earlier. Check whether a withdrawal delay applies after security changes; Bitget shows this on the screen. Finish by turning on push notifications for logins and withdrawals, so any activity alerts you within seconds.

Risk boundary: Bitget App Safety Guide

Digital assets are volatile and derivatives can amplify losses. This website has no login, wallet connection, deposit form or customer-support chat. A referral link only records attribution; it does not guarantee access, pricing, rewards, approval or investment results. Availability can differ by residence, legal entity and product, so no regional access is assumed from language or branding alone.

Scenario checkpoint

  • Add an authenticator app or passkey if SMS is currently the only second factor.
  • Create a fund password that differs from the login password and from other services.
  • Remove unknown or unused devices and check login history for unfamiliar locations.
  • Turn on the withdrawal whitelist and enable push alerts for logins and withdrawals.
